A dying man confesses to a journalist that it was him who shot and killed John F. Kennedy in November 1963. The journalist believes him, and after an interview where the dying man confesses all, he decides the story should be told. Unknown to either of them, a CIA hit man, who is battling with the haunting memories of his job, is on his way to silence the old man so the path is clear for a senator who is preparing to run for the White House. Will the story reach the newspapers or will the hit man prevail?
