Adrian Archer is an ordinary sixteen-year-old colonial boy living in Boston around the time of the American Revolution. Plagued with memories of the death of his father, Adrian decides to search for answers. His world is quickly turned upside down as he discovers that his beliefs of not only his father, but of his family, closest friends, and even his enemies, have all been a lie. Ultimately Adrian must choose which side of the coming war he wants to be on. With his friends pulling him in one direction and his conscience pulling him in another, he has no choice but to choose. In his quest to find answers, Adrian comes face to face with the murderer of his father, who is not only bent on destroying Adrian, but also plans to take over the colonies for himself. It is a story of discovery, struggle, failure, success, and even love.
