Lettres Sur Les Spectacles V1: Avec Une Histoire Des Ouvrages Pour Et Contre Les Theatres (1777)

Charles Desprez De Boissy

The Searcher occurs in the time of dragons and Wizardry, both good and bad. Curry, on the eve of his thirteenth birthday, vanishes from his bed to reappear in a forest. There, he is met by Warlick, a Master Wizard, and is told how he was chosen at conception, to follow the journey of Wizardry. Starting at the beginning level of Wizardry, Curry is given the rank of Searcher and presented with a hand staff that possesses certain powers. Levitation, invisibility, and casting of fire are but a few of the skills he must master. Curry’s goal is to acquire and master the Wizardry skills while traveling the countryside solving problems assigned to him by Ary, a Mintz. All this to earn the rank of Wizard. With a cave wolf companion, Curry is confronted by bandits, gnomes, dragons and, in the end, duels with an evil Turned Wizard. Discover where the Wizardry of Harry Potter, Obi Wan Kenobi and Gandalf the Grey began. Look for further adventures of Curry in the upcoming book, The Wizard.
