In a world masked by so much deceit and despair, Shelly found herself lost and convinced that her life would never stack up to the standards of the world and those around her. Growing up in an environment of addiction, sexual abuse and confusion, she evolved into a young woman lost. Determined to break the cycle and be what no one thought she could be, sadly, after the abrupt end to her marriage and two near-fatal accidents that changed her life forever, she slipped slowly into the glass of depression, promiscuity and drug use. Finally, fighting back from her spiritual and emotional death, she found herself evolving and gaining strength to deal with all of her defeats, turning them into the greatest successes.
