This book of poetry has been written out of my life experiences, from childhood to the present. I grew up in Ancaster, Ontario, and married at the age of eighteen to my husband Ronald (Rocky) Jardine. We then moved to Hamilton, Ontario, where I went to college to become a registered laboratory technologist. I worked in Toronto while pregnant with twins and commuted a hundred miles a day. Shortly after the twins were born, we moved to northen British Columbia, to Kitimat, where work was only five minutes away. I now have five lovely children and three beautiful grandchildren. The book tells of the inner feelings and emotions that play upon our heart. Whether love of life, family, partner, or children Iave tried to find an avenue to express it. The poems are about our loved ones, friends, and people we know. The illnesses that have befallen us, or to ones familiar to us, are in some of the poetry. The beauty of the water of a clear lake, the serenity of the forest land, has found its expression in the poems presented here. My heart has opened up to my readers, as I put pen to paper to create these words of poetry.
