Malikas life was filled with lies, deceit, backstabbing and murder, among other things, but in spite of it all, Malik always seemed to come out on top. That all changed one December night in Washington, D.C., when Malik, by then a successful radio DJ, was gunned down in a parking garage. After this near-death experience and the nightmares that ensue, Malik tries hypnotherapy to figure out who and why someone wanted him dead. But in doing so, Malik must relive his checkered past so he can try to make sense of his uncertain future.
