After writing The Road Once Traveled, I still had many travel tales, legends and lores, from all over the North American continent. I still had many more tales to share, so I compiled Other Tales and Traveled Trails. I recall early travels when we took our children with such tales as visiting the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakotaaand much more. It also includes many stories from the years on the road, and of the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, especially stories gleaned in the Brownsville area where we were known as winter visitors; tales of people we met, legends and lores collected as we traveled.
