The New West: As Related to the Christian College (1878)

Approximately four thousand dogs served during the Vietnam War. With loyalty and dedication unsurpassed, their bravery is recorded in the thousands of lives that were saved by their enduring service during the crisis of war. These four-legged soldiers, armed with their teeth, fought with the hearts of lions roaring their last breath upon this field. The author wished to honor these brave Dogs of War, and has provided a glimpse into the lives of a few with the dedication of this book. Even though the dogs are gone, their sacrifices live on in the hearts of the men who loved them, miss them and remember them.
