The Medicinal Plants of the Philippines (1901)

In the snow-covered mountains of northern New Mexico, Irene Cordova is caught in a web of evil when she receives a letter from Mexican authorities informing her that her husbandas death is directly related to his involvement in illegal drugs and the practice of sorceryaa disturbing event, doubly so since that information is also in the hands of the Santa Fe Police. Despite warnings from her university colleagues, Irene puts her life and reputation at risk when she sets out to prove her husbandas innocence. In her search for truth, she plunges into a paranormal world where she falls victim to a Tibetan dream creature, explores a snowy landscape filled with ancient ruins and skis headlong into a winter solstice nightmare in the lair of the Devilas left hand.
