R Dee of South Ward Street is biographical memoirs about a young black boy growing up in a small town in Mississippi during the 1940s. In spite of racial segregation, World War II and many other political issues, his whole world was South Ward Street, his parents, his little brothers, uncles, grandparents and some of the neighbors. This story is about family, fun and togetherness.
