The Tearless Widow is a fictitious story about a young woman called Ader, who grew up in a wonderful family that loved each other dearly. Eventually, Ader married a prince, called Omal, who loved her adoringly and they had two sons. The deep love between Ader and her husband was the kind that most women would wish to have in their lifetime. Unfortunately, Ader’s life took a downturn, when the civil war in southern Sudan deprived her of her beloved father, sister, brother, cousins, mother-in-law and sisters-in-law. While Ader was still struggling with the anguish caused by the deaths of her loved ones, her beloved husband was also killed. Ader was utterly devastated by her heart-wrenching losses and the wonderful life that she used to know, vanished right before her eyes. Thereafter, she continued to live only by faith.
