Kevin Lewis Clark was born in Peoria, Illinois, and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been writing poetry since the second grade. His work is based on reality and is of a nonfictional nature. His poetry is very thought provoking and stimulating. The title Down to Earth Poetry was chosen because his poetry is easy to understand and right to the point. In the past, he was a freelance writer in Chicago, Illinois, a writer for community newspapers, and a co-host on a local TV talk show. Clark participated in self-improvement programs for some public housing communities in Chicago, helping to raise the standard of living for the residents there. His poetry is designed to inspire people in a positive way so that we might change the world for the better. The author sees the world going backwards in terms of people living a happy life, and if we take action on the right words and ideas we can make life better for all. I believe this book will contribute something of value to you and help make you a more refined person. Thank you so much for reading this book of poetry.
