The Collapse of The Crew is about Tim Ryan, a twelve-year-old boy, who moves into a new house and makes new friends. Tim gets involved with The Crew, a group of boys who play sports with him. He later finds the boys have interests besides football, including shoplifting, smoking, and bullying. Tim succumbs to peer pressure and makes some bad choices. A startling mishap forces him to deal with the consequences of these choices alone.
