My name is Jennifer Phillips, and I have a son who is eight years old. He has CP. This story is about the troubles and hard times that he has and is still going through. We were told that he would never make it, that he would be a avegetable, a but he has had other ideas about what he is going to be able to do. We were told he would never talk, walk, eat, or drink on his own. Well, my little boy is now eating, feeding himself, and drinking out of a regular cup on his own. You also can not get him to be quiet, and we are now walking with assistance from a walker. No one would have ever thought that he would be this independent or able to do anything like this when he was born. So he is my little miracle.
