As a child Josephine witnesses her mother’s abuse at the hands of her father. As an adult she becomes resentful of all men. When Daniel, a handsome, eligible pastor, shows interest in her, Josephine is suspicious of him and his motives. Rather than focusing on her future, Josephine chooses to live in the past. When her beloved grandmother decides to tell her about her deceased mother, Josephine decides to go to Haiti to learn the full truth. Against her will Daniel accompanies her and what she learns propels her to let go of the hurt she’s been harboring inside. Josephine leaves Haiti with new hope in the future. But she is confronted with new challenges and succumbs to old fears that threaten to ruin her tomorrow. Josephine must acquire the faith to trust in God and let His guiding Hand steer her toward a path brimming with His blessings.
