Reminiscences of Candia (1905)

When an ex-lover commissions Sophia Gold, photographer and private investigator, to solve a high profile missing persons case, she is intrigued. Campbell Keats-son of Philadelphia’s most influential philanthropist and heir to the Keats Quarry fortune-is missing. Then Sophia finds him-dead. Now that it’s murder, Sophia expects to turn the case over to the police, but the victim’s mother, one of the city’s wealthiest women, wants her and only her on the case.
