The Island of Surprise (1915)

This book answers many of the puzzling questions that the reader may have, has puzzled over or is unaware of. This includes their sources and backgrounds where posited by the author. This book differs from my previous book, God as Man Created Him, in that it is not as controversial. However, it does analyze four different elements of the Bible and attempts to analyze those portions of the Bible that tend to give the wrong impression or omit that which was known to those people for whom it was written. The Bible text analyzed is filled with trickery, intrigue, political maneuvering, buried background, the influence of mythology, land wars, numerology, rape, gods and questions of prophesy. The Bible is a giant, multi-dimensional puzzle of another time and place, but being more of a puzzle because of that. Your understanding of the Holy Book will, I hope, be forever broadened.
