Memoirs of the Life of George Frederick Cooke V2 (1813)
William Dunlap
This story started in July 1955 in the city of Edinburgh. It’s about a young child growing up with her adopted parents. The child endures mental and physical abuse all around her from the minute she is born to the present day. The book goes through the different stages of the child’s life–adolescence, adulthood and beyond. The book shows how abuse affected her life–her relationships, parents, marriage, her children, finding out who her real parents were, the tragedies, her addictive nature towards alcohol and drugs. It reveals how she overcame all of these horrendous situations and became a different person and is now working in the community looking after the elderly in their own homes.
