This is the first in a series of books about an ordinary young woman named Vicki. It takes you through a summer vacation she and her brother took to Maine seeking rest and relaxation. They meet many people and make lasting impressions. Vicki faces both good and hard times over these three short months. This strong young woman learns a lot about herself and others during her stay with her grandmother. She doesn’t set out to find love, but it finds her, as does all of the heartache that comes with it. She is forced to face tragedy when a life is lost. This story features both fiction and some truths from my own personal experience. It is my hope that everyone who reads it comes out of it with a better understanding of life, love, relationships and, most importantly, themselves.
