Notes on Mexico: Made in the Autumn of 1822, Accompanied by a Historical Sketch of the Revolution (1824)

Roak and the Avokites are tossed around like mere pawns. They become separated and plagued with misfortune. Torn apart, they find themselves in deep underground goblin strongholds, fighting for their lives, abused by the Goblin Prince Zorlash, Recna the Wildas savage ally, left to wonder if they ever had a chance of defeating their powerful foes. They will have to use all of their cunning to escape and make sacrifices along the way, while dealing with grief from the losses they suffered. Dwarves of the magnificent Kingdom of Barrenrift are thrown into a chaotic civil war and forced to defend their halls against a goblin warlord and his opportunistic horde of nomadic goblins. The elves of Keilstrom arm their warriors and marshal their armies for war, marching south and striking first before their homes come under the inevitable attack of the flame giants, while their monarchy is shattered, facing the growing dissent of their countesses. The flame giants unleash more of their dreadful armies. They pass into the realms and their growing empire appears to present an indestructible presence of domination, which no nation in Atlas can withstand.
