Pearl of Pearl Island (1908)

Two Africans saw a body floating in a pool on a coral reef and called out to a passing Englishman to come quickly. He did, followed by a Sikh doctor. The Englishman noted that the gash was on the back of the man’s head. He knew who the man was since he worked with three Americans in the tax office. Perhaps he just fell in? Someone may have killed him because of his activities trying to rescue girls from Zanzibar, but right near the Police Barracks?
