Life had never felt right for sixteen year old, Athena Rain. As though she were a puppet, someone else had always been pulling the strings. You really do have to wonder if this fight is worth while, she often wondered. She knew there was so much more to the life she led, but she also knew it wasn’t in life that she’d be able to take a hold of it. It was in death that she found herself born anew. However, at the gates of heaven was not where her true journey would begin. Death Valley had a place for her. Angels aren’t what they seem, and not only is Athena in danger, but so are those that she had left behind. More importantly, would she be able to pull through this new life that was granted to her in death?
