Lenka J. Kimla has worked in the business of the pharmaceutical industry for the past 20 years. Her hobbies include amateur theater and writing, mainly poetry. This is her first book, which was inspired by her daughteras messy eating of mulberries. It is a rhyming book for children between the ages of 0 and 3. This book celebrates the relationship between a child and his or her mother from the childas perspective. Her daughter, Alexandra Kimla Golds, is 8 years old, and she is the illustrator of this childrenas book. Having a child illustrate a childrenas book, Lenka and Alexandra hope to inspire other children to express their own ideas on art and make it special. They live together in Toronto, Canada, with their pets: Jack Russell terrier, Jacky; cats, Cleo and Sophia; and a very naughty parrot named Sammy. Lenka holds a Bachelor of Science, Honors degree from University of Western, Ontario, and she worked on her Masters of Science at the University of Toronto. She is busy writing her second book for older children now. Writing is her passion.
