Daniel stood, watching the witches dance around the sacrificial fire, his sword burning hot with the heavenly blue fire. He watched as a young man walked towards the witches, Bible in hand, shouting scripture at the coven members. The young man had showed no fear as he challenged them, cursed them and commanded them to turn to God before they too were destroyed. Daniel knew this day would come eventually. Years back, he had given his word to Rebecca that he would come if she called him in need. The day had come at last, and he was not going to allow a single hair on young Danielas head to be touched. The witches converged on his young namesake, spitting insults at him, cursing God and raising knives to kill the young man. Daniel lowered his head in disgust and anger and said, aIt begins.a
