I wrote this collection of poems during the time that I had just started to date again after being single for four years and having finally recovered from being involved in a very abusive relationship that lasted over fifteen years. It is like a road map to the very center of my heart. These poems cover all the emotions I was going through and tell a tale of everlasting hope and faith, although at times I must say I lost my way. It is a saga of ups and downs and everything in between arriving at the sweetest dream and waking up with brand new feelings, waking up to a brand new version of the real me. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did writing them, for they served as my therapy and every time I myself read them over again I am filled with a renewed faith in hope and the love that I know is waiting just for me.
