Opinions Concerning Jesus Christ (1859)

Peter Davidson

A Pilotas Prayer is the story of a young Christian manas struggle between his religious beliefs and his patriotic duty. In June 1941, Cullen Bryant, a seminary student from Tennessee, feels called by God to join the fight against the evil Nazi horde that is overrunning Europe. Despite his strong beliefs against killing, he obeys his call. Bryant trains as a pilot with the Royal Canadian Air Force and is sent to England. After flying thirty-five night bombing operations with the RAF, he transfers to the United States Eighth Air Force. Badly wounded on his twentieth mission with the Eighth, he is sent back to the States for convalescence and a medical discharge. His war service ended, he returns to the seminary. And it is there that Godas plan for his life is revealed to him.
