Island of Intrigue (1918)

Leaving the comfort of your own home is the hardest thing one can do. Aidan has to learn that, the hard way, on the basis of his own perception. Aidan goes through what we all have gone through–failed relationships, love, death, and even divorce. As a young man, he is learning how to cope with it all, trying to find the answers in the world around him. He gets the unexpected guidance from an angel only he can see. In the end, Aidan finds out that nothing is what it seems and life, as it is, is made up of the most beautiful things to the most hardened things. He learns that life has its rose petals but also its thorns.
