That wish for more excitement soon comes true as a Marine officer she dates is found murdered in the lake behind her apartment complex after an evening with Madison. Madison learns that Dakota Messinger was very married, and his wife soon arrives in town to quickly point the finger of guilt at Madison and her neighbor, the handsome Commander Tyler Collins, whom Madison is rapidly falling for. With his help, and that of her new co-worker and friend, Laura Samuels, Madison sets out to find out who really killed Dakota before they get away with murder.
