When Breanna returns home from Egypt with her grandfather, she is a different girl. She no longer has so many questions about the universe; many of them have been answered by her guide and guardian, Raul, and his sister, Brittany. She now has three new problems. One is her powersahow many will she have, what will they be like and what is she supposed to do with them? Her second problem is the Eyes; they were evil and were after her. And the third problem is with everything going on in her life that has to remain a secret. How is she going to fit into regular high school and deal with her mother? Her life becomes so intense that she seeks an escape and finds two, but only for a short time. She soon realizes she has to deal with her life and make some serious decisions.
