The Advocate of Veterinary Reform and Outlines of Anatomy and Physiology of the Horse (1850)

George H Dadd

Bordin had always been the skeptical type. An orphan with a checkered past, the young minstrel had no time for lofty concepts such as fate. His realism, however, did nothing to save him from falling in love with Andrea, the elven princess, nor did it stop Mortess, the demon-worshiping Chancellor of Elvar, from leading a bloody coup and taking her prisoner. Vowing to save his beloved Andrea, Bordin goes in search of allies. He is introduced to the Order of the Silver Falcon, an ancient and secret society dedicated to ridding the world of demons and their followers. Skeptical but desperate, Bordin agrees to join the mysterious brotherhood. As he sets out on his perilous journey, he soon finds that demons are far too real and the danger he faces is more horrible than he could possibly imagine. To rescue Andrea, Bordin must venture into the clandestine world of outlaws and cultists.
