A serial killer is on the loose in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and there are plenty of brutalized and dismembered bodies to keep the police department’s newly formed SIU unit working around the clock. For Acting Police SIU Chief Jake Astin and his sidekicks, Patti Moon and Bill Largent, the case is all-consuming. The killer is smart and takes great pleasure in taunting both the media and the police just to be sure he gets all the credit he feels he deserves. In his mind, he plays a game that has a definite end - six killings.
