Using Tamar as a case study of societal injustice and unfairness, the book paints scenarios of how this young lady in Genesis and others who were similarly maligned, moved from defeat to victory. It encourages the readers to recognize that they can similarly overcome if they develop the needed inner strength and power. The book proposes practical strategies to help the readers develop this inner strength and to rise above injustice by personally and lovingly taking their lives away from the control of faulty societal and religious value systems and moving onto victory. These strategies are set out mainly as stories, written in part in an active voice; it is a pleasant surprise that victory is possible without demonizing anyone. The book will inspire the Christian and the non-Christian alike, but makes it clear that a real connection to Jesus will facilitate and expedite the journey to victory.
