Present Day Four friends meet to discuss a summer vacation together. They tour Oak Island in Nova Scotia with a metal detector where it was thought some of Kiddas gold was buried, but apart from finding some skeletons and human remains, meet with little success. One of the friends is murdered in a location called the Money Pit and his body is later discovered on one of the beaches.
