As a young girl Charlene lived in a small town on the outskirts of Mobile, Alabama. She had eight brothers and four sisters. She loved the country life she lived as a child and continues living in a similar lifestyle today. Charlene had a passion for writing even as a child. She would write stories concerning her family, and her incredible experiences growing up in such a large family. Her mother Willene Everett is now eighty years old. All of Mrs. Everetteas thirteen children are still living.
