R. Rainsberger was born in 1932 in a small Ohio town about 40 miles South of Canton. He attended Ohio State. Before graduating from O.S.U. he became acquainted with the Army, entering it in 1954 ranked E-1 (private). He retired from the Army in 1996, ranked O-6 (Bird Colonel). Between those dates he spent time in numerous big cities, in a number of different countries, on a few different continents. After graduating from dental school he was involved with general dentistry in private practice, military practice, hospital dentistry, and institutional dentistry. (He worked 20 years in a facility for severely and profoundly retarded individuals). He started out in a small place. He now understand the implications of living in a much larger place. Where it all started is where it all ends. What now ? That IS the question!
