Dr. April N. Combs-Simpson was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, where Motown was discovered. April loves to travel, sing and dance. She is the oldest of four siblings. She spent a lot of her summers with her aunt, who is a professional singer. April especially enjoys cruising on the water. That was where she spent most of her adult years, boating and enjoying the water.
