Recently released from prison with nothing but a bus ticket and a promise to a dying friend, ex-con Navoree searches for a chance at a new and happy life. He travels upstate to seek out a girl whom his dying friend asks him to watch over. He finds the girl living with some friends and quickly makes himself liked amongst them. For a moment all seems well, until he soon finds out the truth behind everything before him. Now tossed in between a triangle of love, hate and deception, Navoree seeks a way to overcome all obstacles in his path to his happy life.
