Elaine, a young Realtor, finds a stray dog on the side of the road, takes her home and names her Brandy. The dogas owner was murdered. Elaine and Brandy help solve the crime. In a series of subsequent adventures they become both the nemesis of the sheriffas deputy and the object of his affection.
