A high school basketball player makes a deal with a major local drug dealer to help put him in the limelight and receive major media attention to boost his chances of receiving a college scholarship and making it to the NBA. A sudden injury that causes him to stop playing basketball permanently gets him in trouble with the drug dealer, who wants his investment paid back with interest. The young basketball player realizes he has made a grave mistake and requests help from an old friend of his mother, who is now a police detective, to help redeem him from the mistakes he has made with the drug dealer. But with his involvement in a death of another high school basketball player and several other illegal incidents, how much can the detective and the love of his mother help the troubled young man? Can he escape from the drug dealer and possibly a lifetime sentence of incarceration and receive redemption for his soul?
