During this time she and her husband were also raising five children. With a demanding career and a family, she lived through the pressures facing every working mother . During this time she also recognized that God had a plan for her and a call on her to minister to others., especially struggling mothers. Her first ministry work was on a weekly radio program, broadcast from Inglewood, CA.. Since then she has taught Sunday school, served in her local church, ministered encouragement to the homeless, and been an inspirational speaker throughout Southern California. She earned an AA degree from Cottonwood School of Ministry in Los Alamitos, CA and is currently a licensed minister of Worship Center Community Church in Long Beach, CA . Breakfast is not Soda and a Bag of Chips was written to give working mothers some tips on surviving early morning adramaa and enable them to send the kids off to school with breakfast and a smile, instead of chips and a can of soda.
