They were the most horrific and gruesome murders that happened in motels across the interstate. The bloody, horrific crimes were the worst that the investigators had ever witnessed. There was a serial killer on the loose, and the two detectives worked hard to solve this case. The motel business was down except for the weary traveler. The weekend trade was down as the johns were afraid to go out. For the first time in a long time, women felt safe as they walked the streets at night, and the clubs were busy with new faces–mostly women. It took awhile for things to be back to normal.
