For three years, John lived with Jenny’s family after the death of his stepfather. At age eighteen, the wild rambunctious teenager leaves the small rural community to find his true identity. Jenny moves forward through womanhood, college and the terror of almost losing her boyfriend, Gregg, as the result of a terrible car accident. She carries the knowledge of her pregnancy a secret until Gregg returns from the Mayo Clinic-Rochester where he is undergoing brain studies as a result of his miraculous recovery from a coma. Neither Jenny nor Gregg is prepared for the turn of their fate when John unexpectedly returns to stake his claim in Jenny’s happiness.
