Ironwork, Part 1: From the Earliest Times to the End of the Medieval Period (1907)

Alanna grows up knowing that her daddy is sexually abusing other girls, but she firmly believes he loves her too much to touch her. At age forty-five, Alannaas mother admits the molestation started at four years old. Yet Alanna has no memory of it. God preserved her sanity through disassociation. Alannaas strong love for her daddy instantly turns to hate. During counseling, flashbacks and dreams intensify the hate. She surmises the only way she will be able to forgive his heinous crime is to understand his upbringing. Alanna opens the whole incestuous can of worms and is able to feel pity instead of hate. Alannaas afirst lovea leaves her in a suicidal state, but in her pain, she finds her Heavenly Father. God sends her alast lovea to be His arms through her counseling. Alanna finally learns to love herself as she gets in touch with, loves, nurtures and becomes one with her inner child.
