Margaret Frances Sorrells was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She lives in Texas and is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University. She worked for the Federal government for thirty-four years and is a world traveler. Margaret is also the author of Adventures with Mr. Tape. Mr. Tape is a tape recorder that is used to capture the fun and adventure in this book. Autumn and her traveling companions experience lost luggage on their trip to Africa and stay in a village with no electricity or running water. Autumn has fun in the aBig Applea with her high school drill team. She manages to purchase purses from underground vendors on Canal Street and attends several Broadway plays. She eats fabulous food, rides the Staten Island Ferry to the Statue of Liberty, and takes a boat tour around Manhattan with her grandmother. Autumn travels across the Atlantic twice to visit London and Paris. She rides on the speeding Eurostar train, which goes under the English Channel from London to Paris, and gets lost on the streets of Paris with her traveling companions. She goes on a day trip to Stonehenge, the Windsor Castle, and the famous city of Bath.
