Rosalynde: Euphues Golden Legacy, Found After His Death in His Cell at Silexedra (1902)

Kraegons are a race of beings who are built in every way to be warriors. Half human and half animal, they are fast, strong, and fearless. They live isolated on a chain of ocean islands in a culture where honor and fighting prowess are valued, but emotions are considered a weakness. While flying to a neighboring island, one Kraegon, Cirrus, is blown far out to sea. Upon finding land, she discovers legendary beings from her ancestorsa stories, and finds that Kraegons are legends in their own right. During her quest to find her way home, Cirrus meets unexpected friends and foes, and discovers that honor and fighting ability may not be the only qualities worth valuing.
