David and Jamaal arrived at the Atlanta Boys Center for Disturbed Youth under similar, yet unfortunate circumstances. They were doomed to spend the rest of their adolescence miserable in prison until one of the counselors took it upon himself to introduce the sport of boxing to the young men at ABC. David grew to love the sport and flourished, while Jamaal learned to love the Lord. Each one followed a different path into manhood. Their experiences were sometimes heartfelt and sometimes comical.
