Jeff Barksdale was born on April 22, 1960. At age nineteen, he began a twenty-six-year career in the Massachusetts Department of Correction. Jeff began as a correction officer at the Bridgewater State Hospital for the Criminally Insane. Over the next twenty-two years Jeff would work at two other facilities, the Massachusetts Treatment Center for the Sexually Dangerous as well as the Massachusetts Boot Camp. During that time Jeff was promoted twice before returning to the Bridgewater State Hospital as a lieutenant for the final four years of his career. Through all of those years Jeff was growing in his understanding of truth. What he observed was men and women, from both sides of the law, battling with the very concepts of good and evil. He has combined his search for truth with his prison experiences. All Good People Go to Heaven? is the culmination of his observations.
