Laurie I. (Wilkins) Davis was born in Alliance, Nebraska. At the age of fourteen, her family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, where she discovered her love of writing poetry. After High School, she attended college in Portland, Oregon where she met her husband. Four years later they moved to the Dallas area, where they were married.
