In Service to the Nation is a book of inspirational prayers and poems to God, about God, for the military, and about the military. Each poem and prayer is meant to show every individual who reads this book that they are not alone. They are watched over, loved, and worried about by God. These prayers and poems are meant to share with all members of the military services, Department of Defense civilians and contractors, and their families, and remind them that God has been, and will always be there for them. All they have to do is turn to Him and acknowledge Him. All military personnel make hard decisions and sacrifices for the good of the country and their families. This happens on a daily basis, both in combat and in their day-to-day duties in peacetime. This book is meant to let each service member know that God understands the struggles they face, and wants to be there for them, to love them as they face these challenges. In Service to the Nation allows God to communicate with the service member and the service member to communicate with God, even if he or she hasnat done it before.
