Brady Rollins, an Army Ranger and member of an anti-terrorism unit, enters Iran on a covert mission to rescue hostages held by terrorists. After a successful rescue, the unit encounters a giant, one of the biblical Nephilim, freed from its icy prison by an earthquake. The creature goes on a rampage, killing everyone in the unit but Brady, his friend Derek, and two hostages, one an attractive missionary from Seattle. While trying to escape, the four stay just one step ahead of the pursuing giant and terrorists. When a relationship develops between Brady and the missionary, he struggles to find a balance between dedication to duty and his personal life. Their adventure climaxes in a showdown between Brady and the evil giant, that leaves the young Ranger shaken and searching for answers.
